The Retail Outlet payment method allows customers without a bank account or digital wallet to complete purchases using cash or alternative payment methods at major retail chains and convenience stores across Indonesia, such as Indomaret and Alfamart.

How It Works

  1. Generate Code: When a customer selects the Retail Outlet payment option at checkout, your system calls the Singapay API to generate a unique Payment Code (payment code / booking code) mapped to the transaction or through payment link.
  2. Customer Payment: The customer visits any participating retail outlet (e.g., Indomaret or Alfamart), presents the payment code to the cashier, and pays the exact amount in cash or via the store’s accepted counters.
  3. Real-Time Notification: Once the payment is successfully processed at the store, Singapay immediately notifies your server via a webhook, and the transaction status is updated to settled.
